Shipping policy
Delivery should be the easy part of your order. This page sets out how shipping works at Silkybase, from dispatch to your door.
Free delivery across the United Kingdom
Delivery is free on every order within the United Kingdom, with no minimum spend. At the moment we deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom only.
Customs duties and taxes
Every price you see includes applicable taxes. Should customs or import duties apply to your parcel, these are payable by the customer and are not part of the price.
Delivery times
- Handling: your order is packed and handed to the carrier within 1 to 3 business days (Monday to Saturday).
- Transit: the carrier then needs 4 to 8 business days to bring your parcel to you.
- In total: from the day you order, most parcels reach you within 5 to 11 business days.
Order cut-off time
Orders placed before 6pm UK time, Monday to Saturday, count as received that day. Orders placed later, or on a Sunday, count from the next processing day.
Tracking and updates
As soon as your parcel is handed to the carrier, you receive an email with a tracking link, so you can follow it all the way to your door. We aim to deliver on time, but busy periods, weather or carrier problems can occasionally cause a delay. If that happens, we let you know rather than leave you waiting. Has your parcel been lost, or has it still not arrived 11 business days after your order? Write to support@silkybase.com with your order number. We then send you a new item at no cost, or refund you in full if you prefer.
Tracking says delivered, but no parcel?
If your parcel is marked as delivered but you cannot find it, write to support@silkybase.com with your order number. We send you the tracking details, ask the carrier to investigate and help you until the matter is settled. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 always apply.
